I am
Eiswerder.

Insel Campus Eiswerder

20,000 m² of brick, water and open space — in the middle of Berlin, yet a world of its own. Come over, I'll show you around.

The Island

An island of its own

20,000 m²

Heritage site in the middle of Lake Spandau

My former factory floors are now studios and workshops. Shady green to the north, a quiet shore to the south. People here live closer to the water — and further from the noise.

Inside

From the inside out

High ceilings, steel windows, light travelling across the floor. My spaces are not dressed up — they are built.

Hall and factory floor, unfitted. That is how I hand them over.

Spaces

Space that plays along

From a full floor in a historic factory to a single-storey hall: my spaces can be fitted out, staged and lived in — for studios, production, events and everything in between.

History

I have history

I was once part of the Royal Fireworks Laboratory — today I am its largest preserved site, still in its original appearance. My brick factories are listed monuments.

Where things that go bang were once produced, things that last are made today: ideas, products, culture.
